You’ve probably seen headlines that make one new study sound like science has officially settled something forever.
That’s usually not how research works.
One study can be exciting. It can raise a new question, support an existing idea, or challenge what researchers thought before.
But we also have to ask: Was it cells, animals, or humans? How many subjects? What population? What was the comparison group? What endpoints were measured? Has anyone replicated it?
Good research isn’t about finding the one paper that says what we want to hear.
It’s about watching the whole body of evidence develop.
